As a Functional Medicine practitioner, I recognize and treat the body as a network of cooperative systems that continually interact with and affect each other.

Since 1998, I’ve studied with award-winning, Harvard Medical School trained clinical research scientist, academic professor, and world-renowned Functional Medicine healthcare provider, Datis Kharrazian, PhD, DHSc, DC, MS, MMSc, FACN. I’ve trained extensively in Dr. Kharrazian’s evidence-based models for treating auto-immune, neurological, and unidentified chronic diseases with non-pharmaceutical applications, as well as Functional Medicine, Neuro-Endocrine Immunology, Thyroid issues, Brain and Neurotransmitter assessment, and Functional Blood Chemistry and Laboratory Assessment. I am a member of the Kharrazian Institute.
Since 1991, I’ve studied with Stephen Stiteler, L.Ac, OMD, HMD, NMD, become a proficient Bio-Energetic practitioner using muscle testing, learned the foundational similarities of Oriental Medicine, Homeopathy and Naturopathy, and integrated them into my practice. In 2020, I was certified to practice and teach in Acu-Magnet therapy by its founder, Dr. Stephen Stiteler.

I earned my Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California in 1993. Since then, I’ve continued training in Chinese, Japanese, Korean acupuncture and have studied with various TCM Masters and learned many different acupuncture methods. I’ve received numerous certifications from the California School of Medical Sciences (Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue Bodywork), the Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Institute (Transpersonal Hypnotherapy, Transpersonal NLP, and Medical Hypnosis), and Biodynamic Cranial Touch.
I’ve also had a meditation practice since 1980. And I’m a fully certified teacher of the Realization Process through Judith Blackstone, PhD.
